1. Purpose: The purpose of this firearms training policy is to establish guidelines for the safe and responsible use of firearms by individuals associated with 3Xclsuive Defense Firearms Training.
2. Scope: This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and authorized personnel who may be required to carry or use firearms as part of their duties for 3Xclsuive Defense Firearms Training.
3. Training Requirements
a. Needs for training class/session:
*Must bring your own handgun and target ammo (if you do not have a firearm, please note that you are able to rent one from the facility at their price if available).

b. Initial Training: All individuals required to carry or use firearms must undergo a comprehensive initial training class/session. This session will cover firearm safety, marksmanship, legal considerations, and proper firearm handling techniques for the safety of yourself and others. The initial training must be conducted by certified firearms instructors and completed before the individual is authorized to carry or use a firearm and conduct live fire.
c. Periodic Training: Ongoing training sessions will be conducted regularly to ensure that individuals maintain their proficiency with firearms. Periodic training will include both classroom/session instruction and live-fire exercises to reinforce safe and effective firearm use.
d. Qualification Standards: Individuals must meet established qualification standards in marksmanship and firearm safety to maintain authorization to carry or use firearms. Failure to meet these standards may result in additional training.
4. Firearm Storage and Maintenance:
a. Secure Storage: When not in use, firearms must be stored securely and unloaded in an approved storage safety box or bag to prevent unauthorized access.
b. Regular Maintenance: It is important that all firearms must undergo regular maintenance and inspection to ensure their proper functioning. After every use of live-fire sessions, individuals must perform a maintenance cleaning of their firearm(s) to ensure a firearm malfunction does not occur.
5. Reporting Incidents:
Any discharge of a firearm, whether intentional or accidental, must be reported immediately to Instructor or Range Safety Officer. An investigation will be conducted to determine the circumstances and take appropriate action.
6. Compliance:
Non-compliance with this firearms training policy may result in immediate dismissal from training class/session and no refund of funds paid for training purchase.
7. Policy Review:
This policy will be reviewed regularly to ensure its effectiveness and relevance. Any necessary updates or modifications will be made promptly. A paper copy of the Policy will be given and signed by each individual to ensure acknowledgement of rules and regulations.
***Once you have purchased your training/session and cannot make it to your scheduled time or date, a refund will not be issued. However, you do have the opportunity to reschedule. Please contact info@3xdfirearmstraining.com
8. Media:
Please be advised that there may be moments that your classroom training or live fire session may be subject to video recording or image taking, including, for review or media advertisement purposes.
